UHAVTA RACING STABLES

&  THOROUGHBREDS

Uhavta stables emerged after our grandfather passed away, the late 'Curly' Burns and the UWANTA stables of Tempy-Victoria.

As we still had the horses we had to send them off to be trained. They were sent to Mr Pat Courtney at Flemington and to Ducky Smith of Swan Hill. It was then decided that Helen would get he trainers licence which she did with the support of all her family.

Helen has done and will continue to make her grandfather proud with the successes that Uhavta racing stables has produced and will continue to do so for many yeas to come.

Helen still uses her grandfather’s racing colours Green, gold checks, purple sleeves and gold cap.

Helen has trained winners across the state. Including Trebles and Doubles.

Highlights include: Adrenalin High, Sinburn Star, Stoney Rises, Clouded Grey, Condensation, Boonee Jammer, Corvain, Blushing Jayden, Sea Ranch, Beadbush Blue, Family Of Boys, Vaporisation, Miss Napoleon, Swan hill Bella, Its Serious,  Tee Gee Pea, Lord Tudor, Suntec City, Tickle Bellie Hill, River Girl, Tristadane, Ministry, Music Town, Natural Grace, Black Bikini, Capseed, Pugalric.

Helen has a knack of getting old handicappers and getting them back into winning form like Stoney Rises, Clouded Gray and Astro Castro
