Sora is herself a city winner and already the producer of a winner from just two runners to date. A very strong and robust mare, she consistently passes down size and strength to her progeny.

She hails from a strong family of G1 winners, including CAPTAIN MOONLIGHT and RICHFIELD LADY.

Currently in foal to LOFTY STRIKE, a precocious G2 winner and G1 placegetter, himself by champion sire SNITZEL and out of Golden Slipper winner OVERREACH. His eldest crop are rising yearlings and have already sold for up to $90,000 as weanlings. There is plenty of upside: they look like him and they walk like him. His first crop was a quality book of 115 mares.

Given that Lofty Strike was an early, precocious horse himself, his progeny are expected to be up and running early. Purchasing a mare in foal in his second season also offers strong commercial appeal, given the expectation of early runners.

SORA consistently produces good sales types: she sold the highest-priced Rubick in 2025 for $150,000, and also a Nicconi yearling filly for $60,000 this year. Further upside lies with her 3YO Beast Fighter, who is set to return to the races soon off the back of an impressive trial.

The SNITZEL over I AM INVINCIBLE cross has produced 11% Stakes winners to runners, highlighted by G3 winner Aurum Belle. Notably, Lofty Strike's top lot of $90,000 at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale was bred on this exact cross, making 4x the service fee.
